Our Mission
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

This Week's Sermon
This week our guest minister, Rev. Douglas Price, spoke on the theme "It's Not About Me", using Mark 15:30 as his text.

In the preceeding verses, Jesus was bound and delivered to Pilate, who posed the question "Art thou the King of the Jews?" Jesus answered unto him, "Thou sayest it." The scripture goes on to describe how Pilate tried to offer the chief priests Barabbas, a murder, instead of Jesus but they chose to crucify him in spite of Pilate's efforts. He was beaten, spit upon, and mocked before being led to Golgotha to hang between two thieves, fulfilling the scripture that he would be numbered with the transgressors. In verse 29 and 30, the onlookers stated, "Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, Save thyself, and come down from the cross."

What the onlookers did not understand was that he was numbered with the transgressors, because he was made sin for us. What their carnal minds would not allow them to comprehend and what Jesus knew, IT WAS NOT ABOUT HIM!! He did what no earthly man was able to do....He died that we might have eternal life. With what earnestness will the man who firmly believes the truth, as made known by the sufferings of Christ, seek for salvation! With what gratitude will he receive the dawning hope of forgiveness and eternal life, as purchased for him by the sufferings and death of the Son of God! and with what godly sorrow will he mourn over the sins which crucified the Lord of glory!
